About the Cambridge Library Group

The Cambridge Library Group (CLG) is a society for those with an interest in books, libraries and information. Members enjoy a varied programme of talks, visits and social events at roughly monthly intervals.

Our membership year runs from 1st September to 31st August. The Group usually meets in the early evening on a weekday at different venues in Cambridge.

Logo Competition winner announced at Garden Party

Thankfully despite the forecast, the weather held for our garden party. We are pleased to announce that Jillian Wilkinson won the logo competition and was presented with a bottle of wine. The new logo will be unveiled on our new programme, which will be out shortly. Looking forward to seeing you all in September. Have a good holiday.

Venue Survey 2009-10

One of the great features of this group is that we hold meetings in a variety of interesting Cambridge locations. However, the CLG committee is finding it increasingly difficult to secure low-cost venues.

Please help keep the membership fee low by telling us about suitable meeting rooms in your institution.
